Mahendragarh is one of Haryana's oldest districts, known for its historical and religious significance. The district is home to many famous tourist attractions along with cultural fairs and festivals. The district lies in the south-western region of Haryana and is surrounded by the Aravalli hills.

Over the years Mahendragarh has gained importance due to its magnificent hilltops, forts, temples and heritage monuments. Both the Central Archaeology Department and Haryana State Archaeology Department manage many historical monuments in the region.

1. Baba Hanuman Mandir, Khalda

The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and located on Narnaul-Singhana road surrounded by Aravali hills.

2. Dhosi Hill

Dhosi Hill is an extinct volcano at the northwest end of the Aravalli mountain range with temple, pond and caves.
